I want to find the script for system monitoring , housekeeping etc. can advise where ( in web ) can I find existing system script for administration ? thx

Hi ,

Please check the below steps ( hopes EMS has installed on your system),you can add request for monitoring system resources.

# cd /opt/resmon/bin
# ls
C emscli monres.pm resls set_fixed
EMSconfig.ui emsui resdata resmng.pm
# ./emscli

Usage:
emscli -l | -v | -r | -m | -a | -d | -g | -h
-l : List Requests
-v : View Request(s)
-r : List Resource Instances
-m : Modify Request
-a : Add Request
-d : Delete Request(s)
-g : Generate Script
-h : Help
For more help on each option, use 'emscli -h '

I know there are many useful system script is free to download , instead of write by myself , I would like to download it from net , I think this script can plug into any unix-like system .

You can install tool like open view performance manager for system monitoring

Not sure what you might mean by "system script" but here are some suggestions for checking the properties of your system.

If you have Ignite installed, you can use the print_manifest command.

You can also use SAM to display system properties (Sam -> Performance
Monitors -> System Properties).

There are also utilities like "cfg2html" ( http://come.to/cfg2html ),
"nickel" ( ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/catia/Utils/nickel.shar ) and "sysinfo"
( http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/sysinfo-3.3.1/ ).

You can also obtain this information from the command line with a
series of little scripts like these:

CPU

HPUX=/stand/vmunix

MODEL=$(grep -i $(model | tr "/" " " \
| awk '{print $NF}') \
/usr/sam/lib/mo/sched.models \
| awk '{print $NF}')

#Note: for 11.23 RISC, use
