There was a non-interactive ignite tape created that should have been interactive.

Is there a way to make this tape boot in interactive mode?

Hi:

You have 10-seconds to interrupt the tape boot in order to trigger an interactive recovery. This is by default. See the 'make_tape_recovery' manpages for the '-I' flag.
