    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;within the lp interface script&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/lp/interface/&lt;PRINTER_NAME&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you should find a line that begins with:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;xPORT=&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Change this line to:&lt;BR /&gt;xPORT=9105&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The variable xPORT is passed as an argument to hpnpf and defines the port to use.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See also 'man hpnpf'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;/PRINTER_NAME&gt;</description>

      <title>Printing to Port 9100 and above?</title>

      <description>We use HP-UX 10.20 and a networked LaserJet 4100N with HP internal JetDirect card. We programmed a socket listener on Port 9105 which resides in the LaserJet iself. How can we configure HP-UX to print on the printer through Port 9105? Tnx!</description>
