    <description>Hello all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have san disks attached to my vm host . And those disks were presented to my vm's . So the vm's are booting of the sam disks.&lt;BR /&gt;So for failover ..i need to install the multipathing on the vm host for the san disks.&lt;BR /&gt;Once the multipathing is installed on VM host ..do i need to do anything on the vm's inorder to update the mutipathing info&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance</description>

      <description>No you will be good to go.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The multipath and failover always occurs at the VM Host, in fact if you try to allocate the alternate path to the VM Guest the command will fail.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You don't have to do anything. The guest OS under the VM won't know a thing about multipathing. Your host will be the one handling the multipathing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Sandy</description>
