    <description>The public key file format is fairly well established: there are only two variations (commercial SSH and openSSH) and conversion between them is easy.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However, it is not so easy with private keys: many products use their own custom formats for private key files. It appears SecureCRT is one of these products.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.vandyke.com/products/securecrt/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.vandyke.com/products/securecrt/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;says:&lt;BR /&gt;"You can now [...] convert existing VanDyke Software format private keys to OpenSSH format..."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This suggests you must use VanDyke Software's converter to translate the private keys to OpenSSH format: OpenSSH's "ssh-keygen -i" understands only ssh.com's format, and VanDyke Software has used a different format for private keys.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;MK</description>

      <description>qustion：question of ssh-keygen  translate private key？？&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;dsa 1024bit key: Identity andIdentity.pub  create by secureCRT&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;upload to /.ssh  OpenSSH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#ssh-keygen -i -f Identity.pub&amp;gt;authorized_keys  OK&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but translate private key:Identity ,there is error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#ssh-keygen -i -f Identity&amp;gt;id_dsa&lt;BR /&gt;key_from_blob: remaining bytes in key blob 844&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I don't know why  how can I resolve it??</description>
