Problem with Visual Age

Hi,
I am facing a problem which is related to IBM-AIX v 5.1.0.0

kindly clarify this issue:-
we had installed VisualAge 5.0.2.0 on AIX 5.0.0.0 It was working both for C and cpp programs.
Now we have installed VisualAge 5.0 on AIX 5.1.0.0 It is working for C programs but not for cpp programs.
When we execute a cpp file with the command
$ xlC_r test.cpp
It gives an error
xlC_r: 1501-265 C++ compiler is not installed or cppcomp attribute ( = /usr/vacp
p/exe/xlCentry ) in the config file is incorrect.

Secondly if we run /usr/vacpp/exe/xlCentry program, It gives ?Segmentation fault- core dump? error.
Kindly help us out with this issue at your earliest.

OS: IBM-AIX v 5.1.0.0
SN: 10-3341F
I/F CDE 1.0
