Hello,
We just increased the memorysize from 24 GB to 40 GB on an ia64 hp server rx4640. The OS recognizes the 40 GB, but when running stm, this tool reports still 24 GB. What have I to do, to refresh the info of stm. I already stopped and started the diagmond.

C.51 is march 2006 and already unsupported, see
http://docs.hp.com/en/diag/stm/stm_upd.htm

Consider to install a supported version.
You can review all the release notes between these versions to see if there is a problem fixed related to yours - or simply upgrade.

What do you get if you run:

# echo "selclass qualifier memory;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm

# /usr/contrib/bin/machinfo

Hi Torsten,

Problem solved. I ran cfg2html, the result was the 40 GB is recognized. Then I ran stm and the memory-capacity was up to date.
But I will upgrade my STM-version. The machinfo command also presents 40 GB memory. Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards, Jan
