Hi ahsan,
I installed it but I didnt get the fully
configured sudo file for visudo. Is there any
other way to configure it.
See the below status:
# ps -ef |grep sudo
root 12205 2937 0 12:56:32 pts/tk 0:00
grep sudo
# swlist |grep sudo
sudo 1.6.8p12 sudo

#
# visudo
sh: visudo: not found.

# visudo
sh: visudo: not found.

You could specify the absolute path:
# /usr/local/bin/visudo

Or create an alias to do it. The following link suggests it isn't a good idea to add /usr/local/bin to $PATH.
http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1187611

Shalom,

I have found the install for sudo provided by Internet Express from http://software.hp.com provides better results than the one from the porting and archive center you used.

If you look at the swinstall log you will see an error, which you have to manually change with a chmod command. The install log entry if you post it will make the solution obvious.

I don't like to deal with such issues so I do this:
http://software.hp.com
Search Internet Express
Pick your OS version
Choose ixSudo

Download, swinstall. It installs without error.

It keeps the config files in /opt or some silly place but this is a price worth paying versus the issues you currently experience.

SEP

swlist -l file |grep visudo
will give you the path where the file is lokated.
