      <description>First mount usr.  You can either do "mount -a" or "mount /usr".  Then you can run /usr/bin/vi.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete</description>

      <description>You will have to mount 3 directories in single user mode:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;/usr&lt;BR /&gt;/var&lt;BR /&gt;/tmp&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Of course, the volume group with these lvols must first be activated.</description>
