      <description>hi navin ;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;extending  / cannot be performed by vxresize since / volume has to be continious. you need to take backup of OS by ignite and restore it . at the restore phase define new / size . but / size should be stable and you dont have to extend it. instead of extending, finding unnecessary files and moving them away from / will solve  your problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hasan&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
