Install it.<BR /><BR />This is how i do in my server hpux 11.11<BR /><BR />1) ftp vncbin.tar<BR />2) extract vncbin.tar in /opt<BR /># mkdir /opt/vnc<BR /># mv vncbin.tar /opt/vnc<BR /><BR />3) Create hidden vnc directory in /<BR /># cd /<BR /># mkdir .vnc<BR /># cd .vnc ; touch passwd<BR /><BR />4) Create vnc passwd<BR /># cd /opt/vnc<BR /># ./vncpasswd<BR /><BR />5) Edit your current PATH to include /opt/vnc<BR /># cd /etc<BR /># mv PATH PATH.orig<BR /># vi PATH<BR /><BR />6) Log out and log in back <BR /># exit<BR /><BR />7) Check path<BR /># echo $PATH<BR /><BR />8) Run Vnc server<BR /># /opt/vnc/vncserver<BR /><BR />This output will appear.<BR /><BR />New 'X' desktop is rpc2470:1<BR /><BR />Starting applications specified in //.vnc/xstartup<BR />Log file is //.vnc/rpc2470:1.log<BR /><BR /><BR />9) and now at your PC. run vnc client and enter your server IP and session. In this case, the :1 is session 1<BR /><BR />192.x.x.x:1<BR /><BR />Enter the password your set in step 4.<BR /><BR />Thats it.<BR /><BR />Don't forget to assign points please....
