    <description>fsadm -F &lt;FILESYSTEM&gt; -b &lt;SIZE in="" kilobytes=""&gt; &lt;MOUNT point=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if ur giving filesystem size in mega bytes dont forget to postfix "m" with size&lt;BR /&gt;lvdisplay &lt;LVNAME&gt; will give the filesystem size in mega bytes&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;eg: to extend a 1GB  to 2 GB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fsadm -F vxfs -b 20480 /siju&lt;BR /&gt;or&lt;BR /&gt;fsadm -F vxfs -b 2048m /siju&lt;/LVNAME&gt;&lt;/MOUNT&gt;&lt;/SIZE&gt;&lt;/FILESYSTEM&gt;</description>

      <description>Dear All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please let me know if there is any method to reduce the size of a file system.&lt;BR /&gt;I can reduce the size of the LV by lvreduce command. But like extendfs is used to extend a fs, any command is there to reduce it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards:&lt;BR /&gt;Arun</description>
