Hi,

set time & timezone using #set_parms command.
I suspect a delay of few seconds can happen in most of the servers.
How much is the time delay in your box?
Regards,
SHR

Hi,

We have an Itanium box running HP-UX 11.23. We set the correct time using the time/date command but at days passed, the time is also getting dalayed.

Is there a default time source when the box is setup? How can we check?

Thanks,
Ed

I think isn't a source time but /etc/TIMEZONE. In fact when you manually set the time the OS reads conf from that file and i think that's why your time is getting back.

You may want define a NTP server too.

Regards!

you really need to configure a ntp server.

look at your /etc/ntp.conf file
