Kernel won't load

Guys
i am having problems loading a kernel, when i build a kernel it works ok but it won't load.
errors below
ARNING: No such device, tunable, or cdio bcvmap_size_factor.
Ignoring the following line.
bcvmap_size_factor 16

Ignoring the following line.
cell
WARNING: No such device, tunable, or cdio pdh.
Ignoring the following line.

Loading the kernel...
ld: Unsatisfied symbol "vxvm_shutdown" in file /usr/conf/lib/libvxvm_vrts.a[volhp.o]
1 errors.
*** Error exit code 1

Stop.
config: make did an exit(1)

i have tried to get this to work all day Help.

Didn't say what OS version

But look at patch

PHKL_35816

and it's Dependencies

Hi Andrew,

to fix the problem you should reinstall the patch which contains the unsatisfied symbol:

Unsatisfied symbol "vxvm_shutdown" in file /usr/conf/lib/libvxvm_vrts.a[volhp.o]

1) reinstall the related patch;
2) reboot the system and the kernel should be rebuilt well.
