Hi,

planning to go for HPUX CSA exam.i believe there are some modification in exam number and style .can some one explain pls?.which book will be good for preapration,is ir Rehman's book ?.how many questions and topics vice questions ?.what is the cost of this is exam in india ?.

Yes, the exam number has changed, now you can sit for exam on 11iv3 and exam code is HPA01 but still you can sit for HP095 exam. but it will continue upto June, 2008.

Rehmans book is quite ok for HP095 exam but for 11iv3 OS its not covered. You can read out manuals from docs.hp.com and if you have hands on experience in HP-UX, it will help you most.

Exam pass mark is 70%. Near abt 75-80 questions over there.

Though this is online exam, the exam fee is advised from HP. Gol to site

CSA book by Rafeeq Rahman is not sufficient for HP0-095. Because, it is not explaining anything about VxVM, vPar and nPar, PARISC and Integrity boxes and HA cluster. These are the new additions of HP0-095 compared to the older version HP0-091.

For these, you might have to refer CSA (2nd Edition) of Asghar Ghori (ISBN:1424342317). It covers all that needs by the new CSA exam HP0-095 and almost 700 sample questions for the exam, which is enough for the exam preparation.

Even though the author is Indian born, this book is not available in India, Malaysia, Singapore and most of the Asia Pacific region. If you have credit card, you can order it through Amazon.com and they will courier you. It may take max 2 weeks to reach.
