      <description>Dear Ajith&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;u checked any core file is there&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;find . -name core -print&lt;BR /&gt;if core file is there deletet it first&lt;BR /&gt;then &lt;BR /&gt;checked about log files then trim it&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;also piyush attachment also&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hello Ajit,&lt;BR /&gt;Its not usual that your / is getting 100%.&lt;BR /&gt;You should check what is the exact reason behind it.&lt;BR /&gt;Check size of /dev,/etc and if u have another system compare which directory is taking so much space.&lt;BR /&gt;u may check &lt;BR /&gt;lsof /(directory name)&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/lvmconf directory.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;use du -sk *|sort -n in all directories which seems to have unusual amount of space.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BR,&lt;BR /&gt;Kapil</description>

      <description>As Kapil has rightly said, you should be looking into why your / is increasing before you consider increasing it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check for ordinary files in /dev: a mistyped tape drive name can lead to a very large text file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you have any applications which are writing to / that would be better writing to a dedicated filesystem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mark Syder (like the drink but spelt different)</description>
