topic bash in Operating System - HP-UX

Hello,
I have bash installed on my rx2660 server and when i do exec bash from putty , the putty session goes away.please let me know if you have seen this issue before.

I doubt that anyone else is running that
version of "bash" on that version of HP-UX
with that version of PuTTY in that same
client environment. Of course, I could be
wrong.

For bash Few dependencies bash is working on console.
please check.
