    <description>if u can do su - &lt;BR /&gt;then go to co option in console then change &lt;BR /&gt;u root passwd&lt;BR /&gt;then it will be work, if su - is also not ok&lt;BR /&gt;please revert&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am not able to telnet to my server, but able to ssh. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I would like to restart the inetd daemon, it is showing below error mesg.&lt;BR /&gt;# inetd -s&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/hpux32/dld.so: Unsatisfied code symbol 'setauduser' in load module '/usr/sbin/inetd'.&lt;BR /&gt;Killed&lt;BR /&gt;# inetd -c&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/hpux32/dld.so: Unsatisfied code symbol 'setauduser' in load module '/usr/sbin/inetd'.&lt;BR /&gt;Killed&lt;BR /&gt;# inetd -k&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/hpux32/dld.so: Unsatisfied code symbol 'setauduser' in load module '/usr/sbin/inetd'.&lt;BR /&gt;Killed&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers&lt;BR /&gt;Mand</description>

      <description>Thanks for your reply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i am not able to telnet to the server, But I am able to SSH.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if I try through telnet it will listen the port for sometime, after that its getting closed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Dear Mand,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    Please check /etc/services file port no 23 is listen or not &lt;BR /&gt;Edit the /etc/inetd.conf &lt;BR /&gt;#telnet       stream tcp6 nowait root /usr/lbin/telnetd  telnetd&lt;BR /&gt;"Uncomment this line"&lt;BR /&gt;Then restart inetd deamon then try it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;chandra</description>
