      <description>I would suspect this command first:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# whence date&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/bin/date&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/# type date&lt;BR /&gt;date is a tracked alias for /usr/bin/date&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# alias|grep date&lt;BR /&gt;date=/usr/bin/date&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# file /usr/bin/date&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/bin/date:  ELF-32 executable object file - IA64&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What do you get?</description>
