    <description>could you post the output of vgscan -p ( the -p is preview mode so no changes will be made yet ).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would assume all the hardware addressing changed after the last reboot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am assuming a vgdisplay -v complains that devices are missing from the configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hopefully you have documentation of your configuration.  I am expecting that a vgimport will be needed after the vgscan but without map files you man loose your lvnames.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One step at a time.</description>

      <description>Hi Torsten,&lt;BR /&gt;Yes the server is using secure path "spmgr display" gave us nothing:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Server:  hpux-11.00    Report Created: Thu, Apr 24 15:54:16 2008&lt;BR /&gt; Command: spmgr display&lt;BR /&gt; = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =&lt;BR /&gt; Storage:  5000-1FE1-5005-56E0&lt;BR /&gt; Load Balance: Off  Auto-restore: Off&lt;BR /&gt; Path Verify: Off   Verify Interval: 30&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; All devices on this Storage System are not discovered or deleted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What should we do to bring the disk back again, please advice.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks a lot!</description>
