    <description>&lt;BR /&gt;runq-sz  refer Average length of the run queue(s) of processes (in memory and runnable), with 10 to 15, it may not give us any indication CPU utilization is busy or not.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My advise, using Glance tool will help&lt;BR /&gt;some guideline&lt;BR /&gt;Numbers to notice&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ CPU utilization &amp;gt; 80%&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ System CPU &amp;gt; 20%&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ Processor load unbalanced&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ Load Average &amp;gt; 5&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ Disk %busy &amp;gt; 60%&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ Disk queueing &amp;gt; 5&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ Disk wait/service times &amp;gt; 20ms&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ Disks unbalanced&lt;BR /&gt;â ¢ Pageouts / Deactivations &amp;gt; 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WK&lt;BR /&gt;don't forget to assign points</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am frequently getting cpu runque size alerts and it reached to 10 to 15 when I checked by sar -q .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Experts, can you tell me what are the reasons of cause and how to resolve it.</description>

      <description>What is the alert that you get? The Run queue is the queue of 'ready-to-run' processes. If the number is high, it means many processes are available to be run by the CPU. May be your workload demands more CPUs.</description>

      <description>Thanks for quick response. It gives warning&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;CPU RunQsize exceeded. It reached to above 10.00 numbers .I thinks it should not be more than 5 .</description>

      <description>Ya I will not forget to give point. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;CPU utilization is not much i.e around 30 to 40% utilize but I am getting RunQ error every alternet day so I have to resolve it .</description>
