      <description>hello All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am trying to apply the HP patch bundles on all servers. This includes the GOLDQPK11i_B.11.11.0712&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but when i try to install i am getting an error for the patch PHSS_32734 saying the dependecies cannot be resolved.  This patch is part of the GOLD pack bundle. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any way i can exclude this patch?. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please help</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;hi&lt;BR /&gt;why u exlude this patch, u have to check what is the depencie first, may be some patch depends some fileset or some other patch etc.. if depency with other patch u can select that one also then u can install.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks and regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sajjad</description>

      <description>hello&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We have service gaurd runing on the server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am trying to install through swinstall and the analysis phase compltes with errors. I do a manage patch selection and select the option "Autiomatically selct what is on the target"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;from the logfile&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The corequisite "PHSS_36466.CM-CORE,fa=HP-UX_B.11.11_32/64" for fileset "PHSS_32734.CM-OM,r=1.0" cannot be successfully         resolved.                                                     &lt;BR /&gt; ERROR:   The dependencies for fileset "PHSS_32734.CM-OM,r=1.0" cannot     &lt;BR /&gt;be resolved (see previous lines).                              â       You must resolve the above dependencies before operating on    d  â  width.&lt;BR /&gt;  this fileset or change the "enforce_dependencies" option to      &lt;BR /&gt;    "false".                                                    &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Dear George&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Patch Name: PHSS_32734&lt;BR /&gt;Products: &lt;BR /&gt; Cluster Object Manager B.03.00.00&lt;BR /&gt;I checked u patch PHSS_32734&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;dear George it depends on the product Cluster object Manager,&lt;BR /&gt;so u have to check in u system it is installaed or not&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swlist -l product | grep -i B.03.00.00&lt;BR /&gt;if that software is not  installed u can't install this patch&lt;BR /&gt;otherwise u have to install this product then patch it&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks and regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sajjad Sahir</description>

      <description>Hi George,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check for software corruption&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swlist -l fileset -a state |grep -v -e '^#' -e configured&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check swagent log.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Use swverify \* to check installed bundles.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Revertback with update.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Sudhakar.</description>

      <description>Hi again&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;no need to bundle it with the GOLDPK.&lt;BR /&gt;Just download and install that dependency patch. then install the GOLDPK.</description>

      <description>Dear George&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;while u are downloading it will select dependencies also, ok once u downloade this one in one u dir in unix for example &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/local&lt;BR /&gt;this will come with there is script ./create_d...... etc&lt;BR /&gt;execute this create first for creating depot&lt;BR /&gt;then do swinstall &lt;BR /&gt;u can install&lt;BR /&gt;ok</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The patch is excluded automatically.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just do this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x reinstall=false -s &lt;DEPOT path=""&gt; \*&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let the patches fall where they may.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP&lt;/DEPOT&gt;</description>
