Hi

Let's clarify the content, you are talking about buffer cache, right? if so then you can't. You must reboot to change the kernel parms: dbc_max_pct dbc_min_pct

You can of course let the kernel adjust the memory usage until the next time your reboot.

If you are asking about the buffer cache, why do you want to clear it?
If the system needs more memory, it should automatically reduce the buffer cache's size.
