    <description>depending on the OS Version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;11.11&lt;BR /&gt;kmtune -s maxvgs=number&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;11.23&lt;BR /&gt;kctune maxvgs=number&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;requires reboot for both.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;11.31 &lt;BR /&gt;obsoleted&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There parameter only reservers slots, I would believe like any other parameter like this the mem usage is minimal.  I would not get too carried away but I typically default my systems to 50 so I do not have to deal with it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
