could any one tell the major changes or differnce between hpux 11.11,11.23,and 11.31 ....and what about the v1,v2,v3..

The changes you can find in this site

11iv1 means 11.1x
11iv2 means 11.2x
11iv3 means 11.3x

Its even more specific than that ashan...

11iv1 = 11.11
11iv2 = 11.23
11iv3 = 11.31

THe 11ivX is the 'marketing' name for the product. 11.XX is the engineering name for the product.

hpux11.11 supports only PA-RISC systems
hpux11.23 and 11.31 support both PA-RISK & IPF.
There are many differences. Better you go through the documentation.
