I agree with Robert: this looks like a dedicated system where either the shell or maybe even the standard telnetd has been replaced with a simplified command interface.

If you're supposed to be the administrator of this "OC://WebConnect SNA Access Server (tm)", it's time for you to start reading the OpenConnect manuals to find out how to access the administration user interface of this system. Even though the underlying hardware may be a HP-UX server, prepare to put aside your general HP-UX expertise: any OpenConnect-specific knowledge will be much more applicable here.

Note that the support agreements on dedicated systems sometimes have very strict limitations about what the local sysadmin is allowed to do. Violating these conditions may allow the vendor to declare the (often very expensive) support agreement null and void. After that, any troubleshooting help from the vendor will have a stiff price tag on it.

MK

This may not even be a HP-UX box? It may be a switch/router that does extra security checking before sending you on?

> When i do the telnet [...]

How, exactly, do you "do the telnet"?

From what?
i'd go with the suggestion saying this isn't an HPUX machine or even a UNIX machine.
The only other possibility is that there's another telnet server installed... which i doubt.
mamy be u ought to give them a call
