Hi,

I have some problems when trying to send a
html file using "mailx". The document is not displayed correct because the header is:

"Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN"

Is it possible to change the "Content-Type" information in the mail header ?

mailx does not have attachment capabilities. All text redirects are added in the body of the message as inline text. I think the content type is detected by the mail reader on the receiving side.

What command do you use with mailx?

Well, I googled around and I see that someone has it working with sendmail. This posting is in response to someone asking about how to send it via mailx. The responder said that it would be best to use sendmail instead, and then gave them a link to the following:

The posting:
http://www.unix.com/shell-programming-scripting/32699-how-send-attachment-web-based-email-client-using-mailx.html

The suggested work around:
http://www.unix.com/unix-dummies-questions-answers/30132-why-no-attachment-seen.html
