    <description>Hello David,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am doing this quite often (and for a lot of users)&lt;BR /&gt;and Alex is right about the "how-to", the thing I am &lt;BR /&gt;missing is the part about *telling* the old "dtlogin"&lt;BR /&gt;process to re-read its configuration...&lt;BR /&gt;Just send a SIGHUP to the "dtlogin" process having&lt;BR /&gt;the numerically lowest PID (using "kill -1 ...").&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just my ?0.02,&lt;BR /&gt;Wodisch</description>

      <description>I am running a B132L workstation with HPUX 11.0 and I'd like to change the window manager from CDE to one of the GNU managers.  I have swinstalled several onto the server, but I haven't found the file that let's me switch from CDE to the new wm.  Any ideas??</description>

      <description>Never tried this but ......&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Edit the /etc/dt/config/Xconfig file (copy from /usr/dt/....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vi Xconfig&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;dtlogin*xdmMode:    True&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;wq!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make use of your users $HOME/.xsession script to start your desired window manager&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;see man xdm and also any good X ref for eg's of xsession files.</description>

      <description>This does not work at all in HPUX 11i.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I cannot man xdm either. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can someone point me to a resource to help me change the windows manage on an HPUX 11i workstation?</description>
