topic CITRIX server running on HP-UX 11.00 in Operating System - HP-UX

I know that CITRIX is not HP-UX product but maybe somebody has some experience in setting it up on HPUX.

We are in a process of evaluating CITRIX server 1.1 for HP-UX (it has to run on our UNIX box). Well, it installed just fine and it's running. I have customized it a little (logon window and so on to CDE) but one thing that still remains unresolved is lack of ability to simply highlight and double click somewhere else to paste the content of the hightlighted text. The only way it works right now is via Edit->copy, Edit->paste routine which is really annoying our users.

Does anybody know where should I go to change that behaviour on a CITRIX server side (configuration file)?

Thanks.

Hi Boleslaw,
First of all you better start assigning some point.

I have citrix server install on 11.00. No one is using it. It was test. I will restart the citrix server and find out the configuration for you tomorrow.

Do you run citrix client on Unix or PC?

Sachin

Hi

On PC if you using exceed.
1. Right click on exceed on taskbar-configuration-input- and check middle button emulation.
2. communication - use passive mode. (No CDE)
3. X selection - check Auto Copy X selection
Check Auto Paste to X selection

On Unix. I don't know.

I don't agree with you. Your profile says you have assign point to only 8 answer out of 73, 11%. Might only 8 answer has solve your problem but other 65 atleast took a time to type.

You want to know how much time and effort i did for just to type "I don't know".
I went to lab fire up C160 on which I was thinking to have Citrix. For display I have to carry monitor from other end of lab. Connect the Network cable and so on.. Then I found that this is not the system that I was thinking. I talk to the purchase manager about that system. He told me, that was loner system and it is been return to vendor.

Sachin

Hi Sachin,

I assigned you 10 points even though your last answer did not solve my issue. There are no options on ICA client side (in Windows environment) that would let me do things you have mentioned.
