      <description>I have created logical volume and when I am trying to put he file system on it, I am getting error for large files. My logical volume will be of size 60GB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;bash-3.2# newfs -F vxfs /dev/vgoracle/rlvol1&lt;BR /&gt;    version 5 layout&lt;BR /&gt;    524288 sectors, 524288 blocks of size 1024, log size 16384 blocks&lt;BR /&gt;    unlimited inodes, largefiles not supported&lt;BR /&gt;    524288 data blocks, 507712 free data blocks&lt;BR /&gt;    16 allocation units of 32768 blocks, 32768 data blocks&lt;BR /&gt;bash-3.2#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>It's not an error. It's simply reporting that you created the file system without largefiles support, which is the default. You need to add the "-o largefiles" option to newfs to enable largefiles support when creating it. Now that it's created, you can enable largefiles support with this command:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fsadm -F vxfs -o largefiles /dev/vgoracle/lvol1</description>
