Hi All,

I am not able to view the graphical version of sam in my server, how can I set it?

# uname -a
HP-UX rx260-10 B.11.23 U ia64 2455589970 unlimited-user license

Do you have any xServer running somewhere?

Set the DISPLAY variable to the client you are using, that's it.

Example:

If you have a windows PC, install and run an Xserver (e.g. xming) and use putty to connect to your hp-ux server

> putty -X

That's it.

Shalom,

/sbin/init.d/xfs start

modify /etc/rc.config.d/xfs if you want to auto start the font server.

Also CDE is not necesarily installed, you may need to install that from the OS media.
