Dear all,
I have a prblem about smart array card 6402.
I need to add a new physical drive to the current array (raid 5 composed with 4 physical disks)

cyntmp:/#saconfig /dev/ciss14 -E 0 -p 1:5

saconfig (/dev/ciss14): Error - FW command bad status (CHANGE_CONFIGURATION)
saconfig (/dev/ciss14): One or more fields in command have invalid data, cmd_status=4

saconfig (/dev/ciss14): Current driver state is READY

how can I fixed such error?
attachment is the output of sautil.

Not sure if the solution is in the thread mentioned, because there is no feedback.
I would suggest to check the driver version and do a controller reset:

# sautil /dev/ciss14 scan
# sautil /dev/ciss14 reset_ctlr
