      <description>Dear all,&lt;BR /&gt;I have a prblem about smart array card 6402.&lt;BR /&gt;I need to add a new physical drive to the current array (raid 5 composed with 4 physical disks)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cyntmp:/#saconfig /dev/ciss14 -E 0 -p 1:5&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;saconfig (/dev/ciss14): Error - FW command bad status (CHANGE_CONFIGURATION)&lt;BR /&gt;saconfig (/dev/ciss14): One or more fields in command have invalid data, cmd_status=4&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;saconfig (/dev/ciss14): Current driver state is READY&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;how can I fixed such error?&lt;BR /&gt;attachment is the output of sautil.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks a lot ,Louis</description>

      <description>Not sure if the solution is in the thread mentioned, because there is no feedback.&lt;BR /&gt;I would suggest to check the driver version and do a controller reset:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# sautil /dev/ciss14 scan&lt;BR /&gt;# sautil /dev/ciss14 reset_ctlr</description>
