      <description>I want to make an installation on a HP-UX server (B.11.23 U 9000/800). There is already a first installation on this server (OS: HP-ux).&lt;BR /&gt;How can I make a full backup before the installation?  how can I proceed to make the new installation?&lt;BR /&gt;Is this server a 32 bit or 64 bit?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You can do an ignite backup to tape or an ignite server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have enough disks, you can also take the disk out and replace by another one to save your installation.</description>

      <description>Hi Kacou,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can take full OS Ignite Backup into your DDS4 Tape by using make_tape_recovery command. It will take 30 to 45 Minutes. After that shutdown the server and boot from the Tape and install HP-UX 11.23.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can check your server by using following command: #uname -a, and #model.&lt;BR /&gt;Your Server may 64 bit.&lt;BR /&gt;Please assing point.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;Khairul&lt;BR /&gt;Bangladesh</description>
