Hi Haimi,

Only USB devices that work with HP-UX are keyboard & HP-UX 11.31 supports DVD drives.

You can use the thumbdrive in EFI.
I did not try to use a thumbdrive in HP-UX,
but if you read the Relnotes at http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-6469/ch04s23.html one could suspect that it might work.
Unfortunately the compatibility link does not work.
There is no risk to try things out.
