    <description>yes, yiou need to lok at how and where you are resolving the hostname.&lt;BR /&gt;use nslookup hostname and nslookup ip address to see what you are getting and where from&lt;BR /&gt;This is a network hostname/ip address resolution issue&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Well here is the clue:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Jul 22 19:06:26 mia2 cmclconfd[2552]: Client provided hostname mia1 which does not match resolved name Mia1.vxindia.veritas.com.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This indicates there is an issue with your hostname lookups.&lt;BR /&gt;Also, I do not believe that this is a command that should be used from the command line.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi i got the point where is problem?&lt;BR /&gt;while ping the with hosts name it giving name:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[root@sfqamia1][/]$ uname -a&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX mia1 B.11.31 U ia64 1743361632 unlimited-user license&lt;BR /&gt;[root@sfqamia1][/]$ ping mia1&lt;BR /&gt;**********&lt;BR /&gt;PING Mia1.vxindia.veritas.com: 64 byte packets&lt;BR /&gt;*****&amp;lt;----- It sholud give mia1 but it is giving Mia1 where is the problem i am not getting.&lt;BR /&gt;64 bytes from 10.216.146.115: icmp_seq=0. time=0. ms&lt;BR /&gt;64 bytes from 10.216.146.115: icmp_seq=1. time=0. ms&lt;BR /&gt;64 bytes from 10.216.146.115: icmp_seq=2. time=0. ms&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;----Mia1.vxindia.veritas.com PING Statistics----&lt;BR /&gt;3 packets transmitted, 3 packets received, 0% packet loss&lt;BR /&gt;round-trip (ms)  min/avg/max = 0/0/0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;can kindly give any clue to solve this?&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks a lot..</description>

      <description>You need to change your DNS or hosts entry from Mia1 to mia1 or add mia1 as an alias.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;While the IP address resolves to Mia with a capitol you will get this error.</description>

      <description>I have 4 node machine.I need to create a 4 node  Service Cluster.While i am doing cmscancl on 4th node to all 4 node able to do but while doing form other 3 i am not able to do the cmscancl.&lt;BR /&gt;error comming from cmscancl from 1st 3 node.&lt;BR /&gt;Snip of the error:-&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cmscancl:  Can not cmexec to the system &amp;lt;4th node name&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What should be the reason for this error?Can kindly help me?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks a lot.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is advisable to use simple hostnames for resolutions.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For example in /etc/hosts&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;IP hostname FQDN&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try to use your local hosts file first and see..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, why are you running cmexec here...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regds,&lt;BR /&gt;Deepak&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
