rdist error message

Hi Guys,
I am running 10.2. I am using the rdist command to mirror a server to a back up server. I am running the script every 10 minutes. I am using rdist -R -f then telling it where the dist file to read is.

my dist file is attached

My error message is this

rdist: hpserv02: Your target (/Tools) is an existing directory

It does not update the directory /Tools.

Any idea why is is not working correctly. even if it is a permission issue it would warn that second server has different permission but still write the files.

Any help would be appreciated.

I already checked the knowledge base with no luck.

Hi

Check up on the following

Is the source directory a symbolic link,
if this is true,
use the option -h (follow symbolic links) when you call rdist

ex rdist -hf rdistconf
