      <description>Hello Everibody,&lt;BR /&gt;I try to extend a vg00 with the following commnad:&lt;BR /&gt;vgextend -A y -x y /dev/vg00 /dev/dsk/c2t0d0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But the output showme the following error:&lt;BR /&gt;vgextend: Couldn't open physical volume "/dev/rdisk/disk4_p2":&lt;BR /&gt;Verification of unique LVM disk id on each disk in the volume group&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg00 failed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What can I Do?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;VB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PD: OS HPUX 11.31</description>

      <description>A 73GB disk should be large enough for vg00 - why do you want to extend it?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anyway, did you pvcreate the disk?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Use /dev/rdisk/disk5 !</description>
