Problem with disk in vgs

Hi,

I have two vgs that have more disk in /etc/lvmtab than in the vg.

And when I do (lvlnboot -v), it works nok.

#lvlnboot -v

In the /etc/lvmtab I have

Hi Carmen,

Try below steps.

# mv /etc/lvmtab /etc/lvmtab.org
# /usr/sbin/vgscan -p -v
if all is ok
# /usr/sbin/vgscan -v

did you post the complete output of the /etc/lvmtab?

could also post the pvdisplay output of one the disks?
# pvdisplay -v /dev/dsk/c10t0d4

No, its not all at lvmtab, only this vgs (vg1 and vg2).

#pvdisplay -v /dev/dsk/c10t0d4

I believe you missing some alternate links for your volume groups.

Try to reactivate your volume groups

# vgchange -a y /dev/vgxx

It returns me error:

#vgchange -a y /dev/vg1
