    <description>Whenever I am trying to start the sendmail deamon in my HP-UX 11.23 itanium box, it is giving this error:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# /sbin/init.d/sendmail start&lt;BR /&gt; Sendmail server is disabled, You cannot start it manually using sendmail script.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help.</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To clarify there is a SENDMAIL or SENDMAIL_START variable in /etc/rc.config.d/mailservs . Set it to 1.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then /sbin/init.d/sendmail start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This will also set the server to auto start the daemon at boot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The above configuration file has terse but human readable documentation within.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
