      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I need to remove mutt software from my server.&lt;BR /&gt;I am not able to find when i run an swlist command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; whereis mutt&lt;BR /&gt;mutt: /usr/local/bin/mutt /usr/local/share/man/man1/mutt.1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Which is the software that I should remove for de-isntalling mutt from the server.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>See output from my server&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX# swlist -l product | grep mutt&lt;BR /&gt;  mutt                  1.5.18         mutt&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think the product is not installed OR somebody has removed. But only the files are still present. You can run cleanup to delete those kind of files.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

If you remove it, you can't regen your kernel nor develop applications.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;In another server when I run what mailx, I don't see any linker.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This means you may be using a foreign devil version of what(1).  Use cksum(1) on both mailx versions.  They should match.  Then use "whence what" to see that they are different.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;I think while installing mutt it must have done some linker setup which I want to remove.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Not likely.</description>

      <description>Since mutt does not show up in swlist, it was never installed from an HP-UX depot, so swlist is useless. You'll have to track down all the mutt components (config files, libraries, etc). Possibly there is a README file or better yet an INSTALL file. The man page may point you to a support website that can lead to a package which has a table of contents. Mutt is not installed by HP so someone else installed it for you. Try searching for mutt-anything to see if you can find some docs:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;find /usr /opt | grep -i mutt</description>
