Dear Sirs,
I'm installing required patches to upgrad the oracle to 10.2. The required patches are PHSS_32508, PHSS_32509,.... When I install the first patch there ocuur an error.

"PHSS_32508.ACXX,r=1.0" may only be
installed upon a previously installed base fileset. The specification for this base fileset is "ACXX.ACXX,fr=C.03.60,v=HP". Since there is no fileset on the target or selected from the source which matches this specification, fileset "PHSS_32508.ACXX,r=1.0" will be excluded. Executing preDSA command.
NOTE: Could not install the bundle "BUNDLE,r=B.2008.09.27" because
none of its filesets could be installed.

I use HP-UX 11.11.
The big problem is that Im not findind the ACXX.ACXX,fr=C.03.60,v=HP for download. can someone tell me how to downlod it?

the actual fileset i have is ACXX.ACXX,fr=C.03.50,v=HP

If you are not going to be doing any C or aC++ development, you can just ignore the Oracle requirement for PHSS_32508, PHSS_32509.

You can't install those patches unless you have A.03.60 or C B.11.11.10 installed.

Note: The latest aC++ version is A.03.85.

I have faced similar problem only OS was 11.23 so path number was different. This patch is required if u have c compiler installed and u need it for compilation of c and c++ program. If u dont have c compiler u can simply ignore this error and go ahead.
I have done same thing yesterday.

Shalom,

The message really means you are trying to patch a product that is not installed.

Maybe an error in the patch set, maybe you really don't have the product installed you are trying to patch.

I thank you for help but i didn't download the "ACXX.ACXX,fr=C.03.60,v=HP". I used the latest version of the C++ compiller("ACXX.ACXX,fr=C.03.85,v=HP") and for that I didn't need to install the patches PHSS_32508, PHSS_32509 and other required related for c++ for upgrade oracle to 10.2. I continued the upgrad without that patches and it is going on.
