    <description>Shalom again,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Upon further reflection I believe JRF is more correct than me. The mount attempt may indeed have corrupted the file system requiring my steps. I'd upgrade vxfs first and see it that alone solves the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your split process has corrupted the file system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fsck -F vxfs -o full -y &lt;LOGICAL volume="" name=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This will hopefully fix it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP&lt;/LOGICAL&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; vxfs fsck: unrecognized vxfs version number&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This suggests that you are trying to mount a VxFS filesystem with a layout version from one server onto another server whose VxFS software does *not* support that high a layout version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# fstyp -v /dev/vgNN/lvolX&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...will expose the layout version number.  Make sure that its value is supported by the JFS (VxFS) software that runs on the server on which you are trying to mount the filesystem.
