How can i check if the rp4440 server has a 16DIMM memory carrier or 32.

No. The part number for the same sized DIMM module can be changed several times during the product's lifetime. The part numbers, typically 5x5 (#####-#####), are available from the HP Parts Reference website:

http://partsurfer.hp.com

Look up the rp4440 model and then select Memory Product (not Memory DIMM). Memory is sold by product numbers only.
