Under special circumstances, like where you are an extremely large customer, HP will extend special support services for an out-of-support OS release. The example that comes to mind is the US Navy, which still has thousands of 10.20 machines, if what I hear is correct.

For us average customers - no chance.

Pete

Hi (again):

To add to Pete's comments, I'd be happy that HP at least offers *patches* and patch bundles for out-dated, unsupported operating systems. While you are not going to see anything new fixed, at least you can avail yourself of the last things offered. In fact, there is a nice last rollup of 11.0 patches still available here [at the ITRC Patch Database]:

http://itrc.hp.com/service/patch/releasePage.do?BC=main|releaseIndexPage|&releaseId=5013-2091

Regards!

...JRF...

Hi Boris,

I'm not aware of a single matrix.
But you can find such information related to single products, for example for vPars it is here:

http://docs.hp.com/en//1705/oc.pdf

Chapter 3.6 Obsolescence of vPars Releases

Similar info for most products can be found on http://docs.hp.com

Note: If a product is directly related with an OS version and this OS is unsupported, the product will most likely have the same status.
