    <description>is this a remote printer (i.e. not jetdirect?)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if so...check the print spooler on the server that controls the printing.  somebody needs to check the front panel on the printer as well....</description>

      <description>hello all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have hp-ux 11.11 production server and need your help for printer issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;l06que printer request are showing waiting in sap, i done following steps &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(1) i check the status by &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#lpstat -p &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(2) # disable printer&lt;BR /&gt;    #enable  printer&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(3) but &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#lpstat -p printer name&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it showing &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;printer queue for l06que&lt;BR /&gt;Printer status : Idle.(Ready.)&lt;BR /&gt;Online/Offline : Offline.&lt;BR /&gt;Printer is not ready.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;no entries.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;how to make it online.  or &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;how to solve this issue. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;subodh.</description>

      <description>offline always comes from the printer itself. Need physical intervention to make it online. Incase of a remote printer where the spooler  service is not available the status return would be a "queue down"</description>
