      <description>I would like to use "bdfmegs" so I copied the script from the link below.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://hpunix-administrator.blogspot.com/2008/08/script-to-know-file-system-size-in-gb.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://hpunix-administrator.blogspot.com/2008/08/script-to-know-file-system-size-in-gb.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I tried to use it, I have this error.&lt;BR /&gt;root:/usr/bin #bdfmegs                                                      &lt;BR /&gt;bdfmegs[88]: Syntax error at line 97 : `)' is not expected.   &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any help will be appreciated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank you,&lt;BR /&gt;Marylou</description>

      <description>Hmmm... It appears that is a 1 TB file system.  Perhaps the script can't handle the math for a value that large.</description>

      <description>&amp;gt; 854e+06 for this filesystem using bdfmegs&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Use the command:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;bdfmegs -g&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Or even better, do this in the directory where bdfmegs is stored:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;ln -s bdfmegs bdfgigs&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Now for huge filesystems (multi-terabyte), just use the command:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;bdfgigs&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;I think I will enhance bdfmegs to detect potential overflow. Watch for a new version in the next couple of weeks.</description>

      <description>&amp;gt; I followed your suggestion but still getting the same results.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Your copy of bdfmegs is old. Attached is the latest version. Run bdfmegs -h to see all the options like sum total and the percentage selector.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;An alias works just as well. I added the code for bdfgigs so that casual users did not have to know anything about aliases.</description>
