Ignite backup error

Hi All

I am getting following error during ignite backup while tape drive is connected properly

ERROR: Write test failed!
ERROR: Write test failed!ERROR: Check tape device failed.

I am running command.... make_tape_recovery -Av -a /dev/rmt/1mn -I -x inc_entire=vg00

Hi,

see the below error it looks tape drive not claimed or specifing wrong path of the tape drive ..:)

Example for the make_tape_recovery
==================================

/opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -AvI -x inc_entire=vg00 -a /dev/rmt/0mn

always while performing Ignite

step1:-

ioscan -fnC tape
(take note your path for your tape drive)

step2:-

/opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -AvI -x inc_entire=vg00 -a /dev/rmt/0mn --> note here my tape path /dev/rmt/0mn
