Hi All,

I am trying to install endpoint remotely into a hp-ux box. But I am getting the following error while authentication.

Trying hpovbre1...
Could not determine INTERP for host hpovbre1.
Remote error: (null) (null) (null) (null)
Standard Error: Aborted by user!

I tried restarting the inet daemon.Still I could not login to the remote HP-UX box.

Can anyone help?

Hello,

Initially, check the following:

a) Verify that rexecd and remshd are properly
enabled in /etc/inetd.conf on server
hpovbre1.

That includes verifying if these services
use access control lists (either TCP
wrappers with /etc/hosts.allow and
/etc/hosts.deny, or native HP-UX
/var/adm/inetd.sec).

b) Also, check that the user you are
connecting to on server hpovbre1 is valid.
