LDAP simple bind

I try to setup LDAP between HPUX and Win2003 AD.
I manage to set up the whole stuff and when i try to login with a user defined in the HPUX and AD and the password of the AD is verified.

BUT when check the ldap config with ldap_proxy_config i get the following:

root@racora2:/opt/ldapux/config ./ldap_proxy_config -v
File Credentials NOT verified - unknown error (-14)

importing an LDIF file in AD also gives me errors.

nsquery passwd testuser ldap
shows me the message

Searching ldap for testuser
This Name Service is currently unavailable

WHat in the world am i doing wrong ?? im completely lost now...

Hi Ben,

You are getting a really weird one.

Do you have the following file ?
- /etc/opt/ldapux/pcred

Maybe a bad setting on the proxy ...

ldap_proxy_config -p

Have you tried to create the proxy from scratch , setting up the password with the -c option ?
