      <description>well, i you are going to explain what you are attempting to accomplish then.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the only hits on yahoo or google are "SAP-specific".  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;are you trying to install some kind of model script or what?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what OS?  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;as far as I know, there is no specific "chinese" model script, nor any print "devices" known as CNSPOST&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>me: 'as far as I know, there is no specific "chinese" model script, nor any print "devices" known as CNSPOST'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you:  'i want it to be done from os side (hp ux os)'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;me (again):  HPUX doesn't have a "device", so it hasn't a way to change it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;....and you still haven't explained what it is you are trying to accomplish, or what problem you are trying to resolve....which might get you "better" answers than what I've been able to provide</description>

      <description>Printers are very simple in HP-UX. They have a printer script that handles a few options. This script knows nothing about SAP (and SAP is the program that defines CNSPOST as well as TNSPOST). HP-UX provides no translation capability for printers. Contact SAP support for more details and check out SAP OSS Note # 83502.</description>

      <description>Bill is correct, as am I.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just because you want to perform a specific action via a specific method doesn't mean that method is a)correct, b)appropriate, c)workable.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the link about barcodes above describes the procedures to set it to either chinese or thai, and refer to the same SAP OSS notes that Bill mentions.</description>
